BrightAd306 Just the one? I hope you can keep both, that's that's sweetest. Did you adopt from the street? Explains why she wasn't spayed.

shanemente52 OP Just one! We recently moved to our apartment and she was on our patio from day one, skinny and dirty so after giving her food and shelter outside we took her in to the vet to check for a chip (and got told she definitely wasn't preg nt)and took her in! We will be keeping the baby, wouldn't think of separating them

19GamerGhost95 I had a cat give birth to one kitten before. Literally inside my box spring. I didn't even know she was preg nt. She spent her entire labor snuggled up on me getting loves and cuddles and she even took a nap!

Then suddenly she gets up, squeezes between my mattress and head board to under the bed and I hear this rip. She ripped a hole in the underside of the box spring, climbed inside and not 5 minutes later I hear a tiny kitten screaming at the top of her little lungs. Mama didn't even make a sound beyond a burrr and purring.

When I got down on the floor and cut a new bigger hole in the box spring and shined in a flashlight she looked at me with the most content look in the world. I took the kitten out because it wasn't healthy for them to be in there and she immediately grabbed the kitten and carried her back inside the box spring! She was

determined that was where she wanted her baby. I spent the next hour slowly cutting away at the bottom of my box spring on the three sides I could get to and the trying to figure out how to get the box spring up without toppling mama and baby and without dropping the box spring on my head (I had removed the mattress) until my siblings friend showed up. I told him what was going

on and he held up the box spring while I cut the rest of the fabric away, took it away and laid down a queen size microplush blanket down under the bed.

She was a first time mom and was incredible, but insanely over protective and a hover parent. She didn't even let the kitten come or from under the bed until she was 3months old! And I wasn't allowed to hold her without mama throwing a tantrum so I had crawl under the bed to play with her! Cats are weird and random.
